Request for a COC for an Order for a dwelling that was conditioned on a Mitigation Planting Plan and also to remove debris from a wetland.  An As-Built Plan has been submitted showing a slightly larger deck and 3 air-conditioning units. The debris has been removed from the wetland but only a grassy buffer has been put in, not a shrub border. An open area has been left in the plantings around the culvert for the Highway Department to service the culvert.

Request for a COC for an Order for a dwelling. An As-Built Plan has been submitted showing the current configuration of the shell driveway, an additional stonewall off the northeast side of the dwelling, and that the existing shed and propane tank have been removed.

Request for a COC for an Order for vegetation restoration, an addition, two decks, and a stairway. The addition and one of the decks were not built. They have re-filed (please see the Site Visits).  The plantings are doing well.

Request to realign and level 20’ of existing raised bridge and the entire span of walkway without a railing. Request to introduce 4 pairs of 6” x 6” supports at the start of the walkway that are much longer than the existing pilings for stabilization.  Work by Anchor Marine.

Request to replace a pier, including the pilings, according to the License. Work by Ames Marine.

Request to reinstall the top row of gabions displaced by a recent storm to its original height and contour, not to exceed the original elevation. The gabions on the beach will be picked up and reinstalled. Gabions that have lost their rocks will be replaced with larger rocks. Replenishment of the lost portion of the toe will be with compatible sand fill, approximately 20 cubic yards. The area will be replanted with native grasses such as beach grass and stiff-leaf quack grass. No regrading or contouring of the hillside or removal of any other vegetation will take place. Access will be via the East Egg project 19, 21 Little Bay Road during the construction of their gabions.  Work by Anchor Marine.

Request to replenish the toe of the bank with clean compatible sand fill and plant beach grass. Approximately 100 cubic yards of fill will be used. Access will be via the adjacent level lot owned by his brother. Sand fill will be dumped at that lot and transported with a rubber tire front end loader and placed on the toe of the bank. Work by Anchor Marine.

Town of Orleans Parks Department                        Nauset Beach
Request to build a 12’ x 25’8” addition to the Park Department office building at Nauset Beach. The addition will be located over existing pavement.

William Garner                                          176 Namequoit Road
Request to upgrade the septic system. The limit of work extends within the 100 foot buffer from the top of a coastal bank for piping, and for filling and abandoning the old system. The limit of work is also slightly within 100’ to an old bog that is a Certified vernal pool.

Request to remove one red cedar that is ready to fall over at the bottom of the coastal bank. Work by Bruce McCutcheon.

Request to raise an entryway roof 18” over a rear entrance to prevent ice dams.
